Class Video: Thomas Friedman discussing his most recent book “That Used to Be Us.”
Topics focus on important topics to this course, including: How America Fell Behind in the World It Invented, How We Can Come Back, global changes, and how the U.S. is falling behind.
DIRECTIONS: Write a review of the presentation. The purpose of your paper should be to highlight major points made by the author/presenter, Thomas Friedman. So, the body of the report should show the following breakdown:
Section 1: The purpose Mr. Friedman gives for writing the book, and its significance for the US business environment.
Section 2: A reflection on where we were as a nation, as a workforce, and the effects globalization is having on the direction of the US. This section hits at the core of the author’s message.
Section 3: Impression
This is your opinion and conclusion on Mr. Friedman’s approach, his views, whether or not you agree with him, and on how your job may be affected as a result.
Include the following in your summary using the features of Microsoft PowerPoint:
